Hello there — I've picked 5 of my all-time favorite Content Design projects especially for you. Happy browsing!
Intuit Sign In with Push Notification
I was lucky to get this meaty project during my first month at Intuit. We were adding a new verification factor to our sign in flow, but we weren't sure if customers would understand what a push notification is and how it works. We user-tested 3 recipes: one used the "push" language, another highlighted the benefits, and a third minimized the priority of push verification to see if it still interested customers. "Send sign in request" was the clear winner with wording, because it told customers exactly how the verification method worked. Thanks to our test participants input, we landed on an easy-to-understand flow and CTA (that we're always improving, of course!)

Ally Financial Global Navigation
I love figuring out the right categories, labels, and structure for navigation systems. For this project, I worked with my designer, IA, and UX researcher to redesign the Ally Financial storefront navigation as we scaled up to add 3 new product lines in 9 months. It was a challenging puzzle that went through many rounds of user testing, plus approvals with 15 stakeholders. In the end, we developed a clear and flexible navigation system that continues to inspire Ally's design today.

Novant Health Online Appointment Scheduling
I jumped onto this team after the initial launch and worked with my design partner to make data-driven refinements. Our data analysts alerted us that 50% of our users weren't making it past the homepage. We didn't have time to do qualitative research, but we had a hunch that our filtering was overwhelming the user with too many choices upfront.

We simplified the search tool and gave the users quick links to the most popular appointment types. We had seen success with those quick links on other pages and it worked well on our scheduling home page. After only 2 weeks of this new page going live, we saw a 20% increase in the number of users moving through the flow to schedule appointments.

Sumitomo Corporation of Americas Design System
In only 12 weeks, my team of two Designers, one Content Strategist, and one Developer created a custom modular design system for a Japanese holding company made up of more than 900 subsidiaries. While the designers built the components, I researched and wrote the overall design system guidelines, as well as defined specific guidelines for usage, content, and accessibility per component. I also conducted weekly user test with our product designers and developers to ensure our system made sense. We built the system documentation using Storybook and I created the navigation strategy and labeling for our final deliverable. The client was very happy with the outcome and now we're working on training materials and a governance model.
Looney Tunes Plane Takeover
This airplane takeover for The Looney Tunes Show was one of the most fun project I've worked on. And it's a great example of how important placement and context is to your ad message. I never write content without having a good idea of what's going to land next to it!
Thanks for reading! I hope I get the chance to discuss these projects in more detail with you soon.
